Hi, just a little message on the CAR78a I bought which is an excellent gun. Looked Great out of the box and shoots wondeful.
Now I just bought a QB78 DELUXE COMBO which I can't wait to get in the mail. Very nice guns and very happy. :-)

The XS78 tactical is a CO2 rifle which gets its energy from two 12g capsules which slide into the chamber under the barrel. The action is a multi-shot bolt-action of a fairly tactical design which along with its very modest price means they have found favour with rat shooters who use them in the rough world of clearing these pests from farm yards. Richard, you are correct, the XS78 has the same parts as the QB78 - it's the same gun - although the UK importer SMK re-seals them in some way, I believe. Certainly your new gun will benefit from a little 'loving care and attention'.

If you own any of the QB78 family of CO2 pellet rifles, you need this book. I put off buying it, and when I finally got it, I knew I should have had it all along. It is a wealth of general AND technical information for anyone who wants to improve their QB, or just wants to know more about it.
